William McCarthy

President & Owner

William McCarthy brings a rare combination of brokerage experience. Over the past decade, William has delivered unparalleled results for his clients, driven by a diverse background across multiple facets of commercial real estate. While his primary focus has been representing tenants, his experience extends deeply into representing landlords and ownership interests as well. From leasing office, retail, and industrial properties to working alongside capital partners on acquisitions, William has developed a comprehensive understanding of how ownership evaluates opportunities, structures transactions, and manages risk. This perspective allows him to approach negotiations with a clear strategic advantage and consistently position his clients to achieve best-in-class results. In addition to his transactional experience, William brings a practical understanding of what happens after a lease is signed. Through his background in contract furniture and workplace implementation, he has direct exposure to the costs and decisions associated with space planning, construction, furniture procurement, and relocation. These factors often have a meaningful impact on the overall investment required for a project. By combining experience across brokerage, ownership, and project execution, William helps clients make more informed decisions, avoid costly inefficiencies, and maintain control over both budget and process. Managing Director & Broker

Kayla Sorrell is a Texas Real Estate Commission licensed broker with extensive experience in the Houston real estate market. She is the Owner of Pop Realty and serves as Managing Director at McCarthy & Partners, where she is the designated broker overseeing licensed real estate activity. Her experience spans multiple facets of the industry, providing a well-rounded understanding of market dynamics, client representation, and the complexities involved in executing successful real estate transactions. Kayla is known for her disciplined approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to guide transactions from initial strategy through closing with clarity and efficiency. Throughout her career, Kayla has developed a reputation for clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and a focus on achieving outcomes that align with her clients’ objectives. Her approach emphasizes preparation, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of the market, allowing her to navigate negotiations effectively and position transactions for success. As a Houston native and alumna of the University of Houston Graduate School, Kayla remains closely connected to the local market and community. In addition to her work at Pop Realty, she has been recognized for her professional achievements, including being named among Houston’s Top 30 Under 30, HAR’s Top 20 Under 40, and TAR’s Realtors to Watch. Kayla has partnered with William McCarthy to combine her experience as a broker and business owner with his background in commercial real estate advisory. Together, they bring a complementary blend of brokerage experience, transaction execution, and market insight, providing clients with a well-rounded and strategic approach to real estate decisions.
